SURE, I CAN COME TO YOU!

YES! I OFFER MENTORING!

Q | How can I book a session with you?

A | My advice to everyone is ... book EARLY! During the busy season (summer - late fall) I can book up as far as 3 months out. E-mail me or jump on my contact me page and I will work with you to understand what you would like photographed and then we can select a date. Typically closer to the session date is when I nail down an exact location and meeting time and place.

Q | When do you schedule your photo shoots?

A | I hold my sessions on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I recommend shooting during a very precise time of day, generally the last sixty to ninety minutes before the sun has completely set. (example: In June, depending on that day's light, we may starting a session about 7:00 pm; in December, depending on the day's light, we would be starting a session about 4:00 pm). Newborn sessions are best in the mid-morning.

Q | Do you offer DVDs/digital images?

A
| Yes, each of my collections includes a selected number of digital images; which also include the printing rights to those specific images. A DVD/digital image(s) are not included in your session fee. All digital images, prints, products, and more are sold separately.

Q | What are your fees?

A |
Session fees range from $150- $250 (this does not include any digital photos or products). I offer a full range of products including digital images, boutique art prints and gallery-wrapped canvases, luxury linen albums, press printed cards, and more. There is a minimum order of $550 with clients typically investing $900+ in digital images, prints, and products.

Q | What is a stylized photo shoot?

A | My stylized photo shoots are growing fast in popularity among my clients! These specialty photo shoots have a bit more eye candy than a typical session and are more focused around a theme and adding details to the shoot that support that theme. Basically, we take something that you/your family/your child loves to do and set up a theme around it! For example, if you like going to the movies, we could set up a movie in the middle of a field. We can get a projector and screen along with tickets, popcorn, drinks and maybe even an old car for an old fashioned drive in feel. This type of photo shoot is a great opportunity to capture the essence of your style mixed with my talent! Because of the additional time and cost of stylized shoots, an extra stylized fee does apply.

Q | What is in your bag?

A | I'm a Nikon girl! I shoot with a Nikon D700 with the Mb-d10 battery pack. I only shoot with prime lenses for my portrait sessions because of the amazing bokeh and crispness I can achieve by using them. My favorite lens is my 85mm f/1.4. However, I also enjoy breaking out my 50mm f/1.4, and my newest lens that I am having fun playing with is my 35mm f/1.4. I am an on-location, natural light photographer, but do use a light disc for most of my sessions (thanks to the help of my lovely assistant!).

Q | What types of sessions do you do?

A | My favorite sessions to shoot are stylized children, High-School seniors, couples, and families. I do not do event photography (family reunions, birthdays, parties, work events, headshots, etc). If after we chat, I find that you are interested in something outside my area of expertise, I would be happy to refer you to other great photographers in the area who may specialize in what you are after!

Q | Where are photo shoots held and what should I wear?

A | Not to worry! I work with each of my clients to create a customized experience. Once you have booked a session, we will schedule an in-person or over-the-phone consultation to talk about all of those important details! I will also send you an online information packet with details and links to everything you want to know about a session, including: investment and collections; examples of locations (nature, urban, rustic, etc); photos and links of outfits/color schemes that I believe photograph well -- as well as recommended places to shop in town and online; detailed information about printing your images; examples of how to arrange the photos around your home and recommended sizes for print collections.

Q | How can I have my products, clothing, or accessories photographed by you commercially?

A | Please e-mail me your interest with your name, business name, and website link. If we are a match for one another, I would be happy to partner together and I will respond with all of the pertinent information for you!

Q | I am not near the Tri-Cities, do you travel?

A | I do travel for sessions! For sessions that require travel, travel fees are paid for by the client and an additional travel rate applies. Please e-mail me for more information!

Q | How can I contact you?

A | I am excited to chat with you! E-mail is the best way ... brittney@brittneykluse.com. Please also take a look at my website www.brittneykluse.com to make sure my style is what you're after!
